A 25mm (approx. 1") bias binding tape maker supplied in original packaging. Manufactured by Hemline (a British company). Create your own bias binding tape from strips of fabric with this handy little metal gadget. To use the tape maker, simply cut a length of bias fabric twice the width of the narrow end of the bias maker, then feed the strip of material through the wide end and iron the fabric gently as you pull it through, taking great care not to burn your fingers. Take care to ensure that the fabric is folding symmetrically as it proceeds through the tool. Basic instructions are included on the reverse side of the packaging. This is the fast and easy way to make bias binding tape with impressive results. Bias tape makers are also used as a quilting ruler to determine the true bias of a chosen fabric beforehand.
