We stock high quality textile braid for sewing, dressmaking and crafts. Our metallic president braid fabric trimming is approximately 8mm wide and is available in the colourway gold and black, or silver and black striped pattern. This is an excellent quality cord for edging fabrics and adding decorative borders to military style garments, coats, jackets, plackets, cuffs, collars, bags, purses, cushions, party clothes, dressmaking fabrics, dancewear, theatrical costumes, millinery, accessories, crafts. Material composition: mixed fibres including metallised yarn (lurex), polyprolylene, cotton and polyester. President braid is not a flat trimming, but has a slightly "padded" texture. If you need more than one length of trim, please enter the amount required in the quantity box at checkout. Multiple purchases are supplied as a continuous length of braid whenever possible. Some of our stock photographs feature a wooden bobbin - this is for display purposes only and is not supplied with any of our products. Please bear in mind that it is difficult to reproduce shade colours exactly on computer screens/mobile phones and we have tried to make the image colour as near as possible to actual colour of the braid. Please buy enough braid to complete your project as the reels of braid may not always a precisely uniform shade, when stock is replenished, due to the manufacturing processes of different suppliers. All half metre, one metre/three metre lengths of braid, ribbon, tapes, trimmings, bias binding, blanket binding, trimming, ric rac, lace, etc., are cut direct from the reel to the length requested by the customer and are therefore excluded from our returns policy and not returnable.
