One metre length of rick rack (ric rac) braid trimming ribbon for sewing and crafts. Colour: light blue/baby blue. This woven 7mm wide braid can be hand sewn, machine stitched, or glued, to the edges of a multitude of different items. Ideal for adding a classic zig zag patterned decorative finished edge to curtains, cushions, aprons, skirts, dresses, hats, pinafores, dolls clothes, handkerchiefs, household linens, dressmaking fabrics, dancewear, theatrical costumes, party clothes and hats. Also used for cards, invitations and scrapbooking. Historical note: ric rac first appeared in the 1860's and was originally called waved crochet/lacet braid. Please note that the wooden bobbin featured in our stock photograph is for display purposes and is not supplied.
