Yellow Ric Rac Braid

Three metres of sunflower yellow 7mm rick rack (Ric Rac) trimming ribbon. Manufacturer's product shade: Old Gold. This outstanding quality woven braid can be hand sewn, machine stitched, or glued, to the edges of a multitude of different items. Ideal for adding a traditional wavy patterned decorative finished edge to plain fabrics, curtains, cushions, aprons, skirts, dresses, hats, pinafores, dolls clothes, handkerchiefs, household linens, dressmaking fabrics, dancewear, theatrical costumes, retro party clothes and millinery. Also used for card crafts, invitations and scrapbooking. Historical note: ric rac first appeared in the 1860's and was originally called waved crochet/lacet braid. Please note that the wooden bobbin featured in our stock photograph is for display purposes and is not supplied.
